Civilized Divorce Privacy Policy
I take your privacy very seriously. I will never sell, give away, or otherwise disclose anything about you to anybody unless you authorize me to or I am compelled to by law. I will not sell mailing lists of addresses, phone numbers, or other information.
I am also concerned that your communication with me be kept private. Email is a very convenient way to communicate, and I use it heavily.
I offered my public key for encrypting email for several years, but I never got a single taker. So, I've forgotten how to do it, and I've removed my encryption key from the web site.
If there are deep dark secrets you need to hide from your spouse, do not communicate about it using a computer to which your spouse has access. Don't visit web sites you don't want your spouse to know about unless you use a computer your spouse doesn't have access to. But, then again, if you've got deep dark secrets to hide from your spouse, you probably don't need a Civilized DivorceSM. You need a lawyer to go to war for you, and that's not me.

We hate junk e-mail (Spam). Information you obtain from our website about us or other site users cannot be used by you or others to send unsolicited commercial e-mail or to send unsolicited commercial communications via our website's posting or other communication systems.
If we have your email address, it's either because you gave it to us, or because someone else claimed to be you and gave us your email address. In either case, if you don't want to receive email from us, we don't want to send it to you. All we ask is that if you get email from us and you want us to stop, please clearly identify what the email said, what email address it was sent to, and what email address it said it came from. Try not to just reply to the offending email, as if someone is pretending to be us, we won't get your email asking us to stop. 8. Your Voluntary Disclosure Of Information To Third Parties Who Are Not Our Suppliers.
You may choose to provide personal information to website visitors or other third parties who are not our suppliers. Please use caution when doing so. The privacy policies and customs of these third parties determine what is done with your information.

We may use autoresponders to communicate with you by e-mail. To protect your privacy, we use a verified opt-in system for such communications and you can always opt-out of such communications using the links contained in each autoresponder message. If you have difficulties opting out, you may contact us by sending an e-mail to Unsubscribe (at) civilized-divorce.com (replacing the "(at)" with the "@" symbol and removing the spaces), or sending us mail to the address listed below.
10. Policy Changes.
The terms of this policy may change from time to time. If such changes are made, we will notify you by a notice posted on our website's home page of the changes that have been made. If you disagree with the changes that have been made, please contact us (by e-mail, using a website contact form, or in writing by mail), and any changes made to this policy will not apply to information we have collected from you prior to making the changes.
